Description
Taylor Guitars was founded in 1974 by Bob Taylor and Kurt Listug, and has grown into the leading global builder of premium acoustic guitars. Renowned for blending modern, innovative manufacturing techniques with a master craftsman's attention to detail, Taylor acoustic guitars are widely considered among the best-sounding and easiest to play in the world, with Bob himself being known throughout the musical instrument industry as the visionary acoustic guitar manufacturer.
This 800 Series Grand Concert 812ce will appeal to rootsy fingerstyle players who want a comfortable playing experience and enjoy the sound and look of a spruce/rosewood combination. The 24-7/8-inch neck makes fretting and bending strings easier, while the spruce top produces top-end sparkle, with rosewood’s slightly scooped mids make it perfect for accompanying vocals. Taylor's new patented V-Class bracing pattern coaxes new levels of projection, sustain, and improved intonation out of the guitar. The interior label on all V-Class guitars bears the signature of master guitar designer Andy Powers. Premium appointments include maple binding and back strip, rosewood top edge trim, and a rosewood pickguard. This model is also fitted with Taylor's ES2 system and is ready for the stage.
